Hi everyone, I'm writing today for the third time to speak about one of my favourite bands. You've just read it in the title, the band I'm speaking about is Evanescence !
Who are Evanescence ?
Evanescence are an American rock band from Little Rock, Arkansas. This band has been created in 1996 by Amy Lee and Ben Moody. As of today, the band consists of Amy Lee, Jen Majura, Tim McCord, Will Hunt and Troy McLawhorn but it has changed a lot from year to year.
What do they do ?
Evanescence've made 6 albums, 4 studios and 2 lives. The last one's called Synthesis. This album was recorded with a symphonic orchestra. That's why it's special.
Fun fact
"Bring Me To Life" was the first song of Evanescence and was a huge success. What you have to know is that, at the beginning, this song had no rapper in it. It's because of their label that Paul McCoy (from 12 Stones frontman) raps a bit.
People said Evanescence would be a one-hit wonder with "Bring Me To Life" but they're wrong because "My Immortal" and "Going Under" came out after and these songs worked out !
