Everything kept leading me there.
The waves were raging, crashing and breaking powerfully against the cliff. Their strength and fury were comforting, and it produced a crushing cold wind that made me feel safe and somewhat alive. Finally, alive.
The sharp angles of the rock and its dark colours made me feel like a part of the earth. I could taste it in my mouth, and I could feel my arms turning into the thick and muddy ground. I felt shapeless, anywhere and everywhere.
The grass carpeting the cliff above was wet and cold, just like my hair. The rustling leaves of ancient trees merging with the ocean sound were soothing.
I was a part of this place now. Couldn't move, wouldn't dare.
