being a college student is an amazing opportunity for us to expand our knowledge and pave our way to our future goals, which is why I take my study very seriously. I have so many things that I want to achieve in life and being graduated with a satisfying score will be one of the most important aspects to achieve my goals. In my first semester, I didn't take it really seriously and I ended up with an average GPA, and then I realized that I have to make some changes. I put a little more effort on my second semester (and believe me, I don't even think that I put that much effort since my grades don't change that much and I like to compare myself with some of my hardworking friends and whew, I realized I needed a change), and my grade actually raised quite a bit, and now I will try to put my best effort to ace this third semester.

anyway, these are some study tips and tricks that I found helpful.

6. ๐—บ๐—ฎ๐—ธ๐—ฒ ๐—ฎ ๐—น๐—ถ๐˜€๐˜ - before every study session, make a list of things that you have to work on: homework that needs to be done, pages that you have to go through, the chapters you need to read, etc. It will be much better if you make the list right after classes so when you get home you will be more determined to finish those tasks.

9. ๐˜€๐—ฎ๐˜ƒ๐—ฒ ๐—ฎ ๐—ณ๐—ฒ๐˜„ ๐—ต๐—ผ๐˜‚๐—ฟ๐˜€ - save at least an afternoon or one morning or an evening every week for an intensive session. this session will be your 'life-saver' when you have tons of homework and projects that you can't fit in your daily academic routine. one free afternoon to organize and catch up with your academic life will come in handy!

I like to ask myself, "if I stop now, when will I ever reach my goals?" because I am scared as hell to not reaching my goals so I use that question to motivate myself hahaha

For most of us- 'shy creatures', participating can be dreadful โ€“ but once you get out of your box, youโ€™ll see how participating makes you understand the subject!

13. ๐—ฎ๐˜€๐—ธ ๐—พ๐˜‚๐—ฒ๐˜€๐˜๐—ถ๐—ผ๐—ป๐˜€ - if you have any questions during class, raise your hand and ask them. If your professor doesnโ€™t like being interrupted, write them down and approach them at the end of the class. 14. ๐—ฎ๐˜€๐—ธ ๐—ณ๐—ผ๐—ฟ ๐—ฒ๐˜…๐—ฎ๐—บ๐—ฝ๐—น๐—ฒ๐˜€ - Examples are probably the thing that makes your brain connect the information faster. If your professor isnโ€™t keen on providing examples, suggest your own and see if your answer comes upright. Sometimes, examples are the thing that makes us understand our material and our definitions since they transform formal information into relatable events.

15. ๐˜€๐—ถ๐˜ ๐—ฎ๐˜ ๐˜๐—ต๐—ฒ ๐—ณ๐—ฟ๐—ผ๐—ป๐˜ - I know it sounds very straightforward or even scary asf, but sitting at the front row does wonder! You'll get focused on your professor instead of your friends, and it will help you to resist the temptation to log in on Instagram or Twitter when the class is boring.
