Hello, my dears and welcome to "How to Get Your Life Together" class! I am so excited to introduce you to a new series of articles especially designed for those of you who seek an easy way to get out of the comfort zone.
This is a pilot article, so for today I'll just share some tips and tricks that worked for me. I am no lifestyle coach and I am still searching for ways of improving myself, but I really hope that you will find what's written here pretty useful.
Let's get it started!

1. Start Small
Baby steps are the key! Change doesn't happen overnight and if you want to add some new habits to your lifestyle you have to let yourself get used to them. Somedays you will lack motivation to study, workout, eat healthy, meditate, read and do all the other things you imposed yourself. But if you know that all you have to do that day is complete your duolingo streak and drink 2L of water it will make you feel better about yourself at the end of the day. So start with easy tasks!

2. Consistency is important!
After deciding what are the changes you want to add to your daily routine, start adding them at the top of your "to do" list. Mark your progress everyday and try to keep the streak going. At the end of your month, you will feel better looking back at your productive weeks.

3. Consider it a game
After adding these activities to your "to do" list, add some side activities to do after you finish everything. This will motivate you to complete your daily tasks before doing anything else. Consider this a game where you have to go through different levels in order to unlock new superpowers.

4. It's all about discipline, not motivation
If there is something I discovered in my two years of uni is that you need discipline in order to succeed, not motivation. Motivation comes and goes, you need a schedule to stick to and you need to push yourself to do everything you want. Do not let the bad mood you have in the morning affect your entire day. Just take a deep breath and tell yourself: "okay, how do I begin?". Choose something small and easy to do and everything else will follow.

5. Breaks are okay
We are all humans, it's okay if some days you do not achieve any of your goals. It happens. You can always start over the following day. No one will blame you.

6. Expect less, earn more
Don't push over yourself too much or you'll end up exhausted. As I said before, start with something small and don't forget to reward yourself at the end of your week/month for having a chosen number of productive days (but not all of them, you'll just end up feeling disappointed). Next week/month, aim to achieve the same goals. If you do more, it's even better!

7. Don't compare yourself to the others
Unless you know what they're doing in every moment of their day (which you don't). Everyone wastes time, but some people are better at hiding it. So when someone tells you "I've been studying all day", that doesn't mean that person was productive all day.

That was my piece of advice for today, guys! I hope you enjoyed reading this article and stay in touch for more!
And also,
I have a little challenge for you! Till next time, I want you to read 25 pages daily! Or if you don't have the time, just to read something. I know you can do it, just for a few days. Let my know if you managed by reacting with "๐ฅ".
See you next time!
