Hi everyone! I'm really excited about todays article since we'll be talking about habits you can start implementing into your life to improve your well-being and help you stay productive! Who has time to wait until January to get started?! The earlier you start, the better! Habits take time to fully form and if you begin now, there's a good chance you'll get used to them quicker.

And don't give me the excuse that you're "not a morning person". Guess what? No one is a born enthusiastic morning person that loves waking up at 5am. You have to train your mind and body to get used to it and once you do, I promise you'll start to love and crave waking up in the early hours. You can get so much done in the morning, your mind is still fresh and chances are, everyone's still asleep so you don't even have to deal with people yet. Besides, sleep has so many emotional and physical benefits so make sure you get at least 7-8 hours of sleep every day. You can start by going to bed and waking up 30 minutes earlier than you usually do!

After my last argument you might be asking yourself: why the hell should I wake up so early? How could early mornings be so crucial and benefitial?
By having a morning ritual that you follow every day (of course you should change things up every now and then to keep it exciting!) you are setting yourself up for a good day. Your morning routine should be a mix of doing things that you love & that make you happy and accomplishing little tasks that will motivate you further.
For instance, I recommend getting your body moving first thing in the morning (can be a walk, a workout class, streching, yoga,...). It will fill you up with energy, I promise! I also love meditating because it puts me in the right headspace as well as eating a healthy, nutritious breakfast!
Same idea with the evening ritual, do things that calm you down and get you in the mood for sleep!

This is the most important one in my experience! Having a clear space equals having a clear mind. So declutter the stuff that has no meaning and use to you, always clean and organize your space and not only will it look better, it will also make you feel happier and more motivated. Not to mention, you're more likely to sit down to work at a desk that is organized and looks appealing as opposed to one that is messy, right?

This is another one that has truly had a huge impact on my life! Obviously, exercising has many physical benefits but it also gives you an enormous sense of well-being! I know it made me look at things in a more positive way, improved my sleep and helped me feel more energetic! It doesn't have to be dreadful, either. Find something you have fun doing, like boxing, dancing, jogging, etc.

To-do-lists are amazing and they are so affective, I'm telling you! Simply having an idea of how the next day will look like and what you'll need to get done helps you avoid wasting time and by the end of the day, you'll feel so accomplished when ticking off the tasks that you've completed!
