Hello, babe!

Can you feel the spirit of the season blowing through the streets like a magic wind? No matter your family traditions or religion, we can all agree that this season is the one dedicated to family, friends, love, compassion and all the core values that make us truly good human beings. So this is why today’s article is dedicated to help those in need… and without spending your own money.

Not all of us have a great amount of money to donate – maybe because we’re college students on a budget, or maybe because we’re too young to actually have an income of our own. This is why I thought about a series of websites, apps and more to donate to charities on our behalf.

How does it work? The advertisers pay a sum of money to the websites here mentioned appear on your screen, and a great part of that amount is donated to charities. Keep on reading to discover more about it...

There are a lot of available subjects, as English and foreign language vocabulary, multiplication tables, geography, art, literature and many more. Amazon Smile

We all buy on Amazon! It is one of the first online shopping websites that comes to anyone’s mind. So why not make a difference while doing something that we would do anyway?

Amazon Smile is a section of Amazon in which you can buy everything you can find on the classic Amazon – but the 0.5% revenue of what you buy goes directly to a charity of your choice. It might seems a tiny amount of money, but if you think that Amazon is one of the biggest online sellers of the world, you can understand that every little help counts.

Happy Tabs and Tabs for a Cause

Both Happy Tabs and Tabs for a Cause are Chrome Apps that donate money thanks to an ad that appears every time that you open a new tab on your browser.

Tabs for a Cause shows you a beautiful picture every time you open a new tab, and allows you to have a to-do list and a notepad there. It lets you decide where the ad revenue goes – from the preservation of oceans to feeding starving children, it’s up to you.

Happy Tabs is a new project that shows you a new picture of a kitty or a puppy when you open a new Chrome tab. Your heart will melt, and the money from the ads goes to an animal shelter in the US. As transparent as the the Ecosia guys, Happy Tabs also shows you a screenshot of the donations made to the organisations. And you can submit your own pictures of your furry friends for the world to see! Isn’t that wonderful?
