Bullying culture has been around forever. Twenty-eight per cent of young people from grade six through 12 have been the victim of bullying. Physical bullying is fairly widespread and most of us are aware of it, however, the existence of emotional bullying gets overlooked sometimes and that's unfair.

Truth is, both forms of bullying are equally detrimental to the victim. The only difference is that scars left by physical bullying are visible whereas victims of emotional bullying may not display any since the damages occur mentally within the individual.

Some people commit to bullying and essentially victimizing another person solely because theyโd feel better about themselves by doing so. Trust me, the feeling of satisfaction and empowerment is only momentary and itโll fade away sooner or later, being replaced with the feeling of fear and guilt.

Weโre all brought into this planet with equal flaws and differences. Hence, itโs vital for us to respect differences and appreciate everyoneโs presence. Be kind to people around you because you never know what theyโre going through. The last thing youโd want to do is to add up to their burden and eventually make their suffering worse.

Instead of bullying in any form, help some out! Well, it might not sound that flattering but it will definitely help you grow as a person and also benefit the other individual. Our human race is much more than this and it's only time we overcome the need to discriminate others and perform violence. Promote kindness and spread love-I know that it's easier said than done, but with enough commitment, it isn't impossible.

Thank you for making it this far โค It means a lot to me!
