Well well well, I'm so inspired today and for that I really want to do this article, please enjoy it!
The God for today is so disappointed in life and people, but we can't jude him cause him had a really bad life since he born and I understand his moodiness, his mom is so creepy, his wife is unfaithful ... but he still be cool with his work, helps Percy some times and I think he love his children (as much as a god can do it)
Anyway, I don't late to find an actor for this role. He's a man has played characters with prosthetics, physical illnesses and also characters that highlight for their combative attitude..he's PERFECT. And I know, Hephaestus isn't "handsome guy" and his face is deformed, but it isn't something that makeup can't do. I have chosen this actor cause he has that "bad" attitude but he also has that feeling of "loneliness" that would look good on the character.
Hephaestus
He's the Greek god of forges, fire, technology, volcanoes, and blacksmiths.
He's a huge and ugly man, his leg in a creaking steel brace, bushy eyebrows, and a wild brown beard that sparks fire from time to time, however, he's also very muscular cause working in forges.
Inside his workshop, he wears a jumpsuit smeared with grime and oil with the name Hephaestus embroidered over the chest pocket. When he is on Olympus, however, he is much cleaner and almost elegant. Hephaestus' voice is deep and booming also said to wear a "permanent scowl".
