If you need some positivity in your life, here are five things you can do to become a happier person.

1. Do what you love

If you're doing something you don't enjoy, why do you do it? to impress your family or friends? because people tell you to do it? If you don't like your job, field of education, etc. then stop doing it. Follow your heart and do what makes you happy.

2. Surround yourself with positive people

This doesn't mean that when your friends come to you to talk about their problems, that you have to reject them. I'm talking about letting go of people who threaten your joy. People who talk behind your back, who only come to you when they need something, who never have something good to say about you, ... ignore them. They are not worth you time. Surround yourself with people who genuinely care about you and your well-being and who want to make you feel better.

3. F*ck what they think

Stop caring about what people think about you. Wear what you want, wear make-up or don't, ... if you feel good about it, that's all that matters!

4. Appreciate the little things

We often forget how good life actually is because we focus on the bad things. We often don't appreciate the little things in life like someone calling you pretty, someone making you laugh, the sunrise and sundown, a stranger smiling at you and there are many more small things that can brighten up your day.

5. Focus on yourself and live for yourself

Your mental health comes first. Stop trying to please everyone for a moment and take care of yourself. Also, don't depend on anyone for your happiness, cause when they leave, your happiness leaves with them. Make your own happiness and don't let your life revolve around someone else.
