Happy December, everyone! It's time to start the Christmas Writing Challenge!🎄 I have linked the challenge below if you would like to join me.

Now, without further ado, here is my December Bucket List!

1. Bake Christmas cookies!

I'm so ready to decorate cute and yummy things. I think that baking Christmas cookies with a Christmas movie playing in the background is one of my favorite things to do in the Christmas season. If you ever need to get into the Christmas spirit, this is one of those things that'll help you get there.

2. Wrap Christmas presents.

While slightly irritating, wrapping presents is definitely a must-do during the holiday season. At least, for me. There are a variety of different ways that you can wrap gifts and, while I'm not creative enough to do those things usually, I may have to try them.

3. Festive Photography

Here are a few pictures that I took last December. I feel like Christmas is just such a photogenic time and it would be an absolute waste to let December pass without taking some lovely pictures.

4. Christmas Movie Marathon!

Elf, The Santa Clause, The Grinch, Charlie Brown Christmas, and While You Were Sleeping are just a few of the movies on my list. What's amazing about THIS bucket list item is that you can do this while completing another. Cutting two cookies with one cookie cutter.

5. Decorate a Christmas tree!

Now, how could the holiday season be complete without trimming the tree? You can play some Michael Buble in the background, invite your friends or your family to help, and boom: you already made a Christmas memory.

6. Wear an "ugly" or UGLY Christmas sweater

Honestly, I never find any ugly sweater to be really ugly. I LOVE them. I have one that has a cat on it and it says "Meowy Christmas." 100000000% doing it this year.

7. Decorate a gingerbread house

Now, I'm TERRIBLE at these, but they're so fun to do alone or with family. Usually, I make them from kits, which is kind of cheating, but still. Hopefully, I can make an instagrammable one this year (but I'm not getting my hopes up).

8. See Christmas lights

Okay, but driving around looking at Christmas lights is my jam. There's something so relaxing about looking at beautifully lit houses that you didn't have to help with. This is such an easy bucket list item to accomplish and it'll really help relax you and get you ready for the 24th and 25th.

9. Donate a toy to a toy drive

'Tis the season to give. I donated to Operation Christmas Child already this year, but I'm hoping that I can also donate to Toys for Tots.

10. Listen to Christmas music

Duh. Specifically, Michael Buble (aka the King of Christmas).

There are many, many more things I plan on doing this Christmas season, but these definitely make the top ten. I find that when I don't hold myself accountable, I miss out on doing a lot of the things I wanted to do in the first place. I'm really excited to see where December takes me this year, and I hope that you are too. I will write again tomorrow to continue this Christmas writing challenge. Happy first!
