Hey my amores! Hope you are having a nice time<3 It's the last say of the month, so... Wrap up!
I wish I could read more books, but with college a have no time:(

In November I read 4 books

1) "The Scientific Sherlock Holmes: Cracking the Case with Science and Forensics" by James O’Brien
2/5

  • First time reading it.

Okay, it's not a bad book, but when I was reading it, I felt like when a magician tells how he does the tricks.
Obviously, is no Arthr Conan Doyle who explains how he wrote every story, but I didn't like the way that te author pointed out the "mistakes" that are in the books.
The stories of Sherlock Holmes may have some incongruities, like the Watson's bullet wound, but that doesn't interest the Holmesians. We love and love Sherlock and Watson and all the adventures that Conan Doyle wrote.

2)"Harry Potter and the Chamber Of Secrets" by J.K. Rowling
5/5

  • Not my first time reading it.

Just like the first one, I have no idea how many time I have read this book, but that doesn't matter I'm in love with it.
I remember being so scared the first time that I read it, I was like 9 years old and I was freaking out because of the danger that students and Hogwarts in general were.

“Because that’s what Hermione does,” said Ron, shrugging. “When in doubt, go to the library.” ― J.K. Rowling, Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets

3) "In Cold Blood" by Truman Capote
5/5

  • First time reading it.

This book is honestly a masterpiece. It so fucking good. And is horrible too, because everything that you read, it happened, they stole and they killed, and when I was reading it I though "Capote has a really scary imagination" and then I realize that "No, wait, that was real, a family got killed". It's a must read book, at least once in your life.

“Once a thing is set to happen, all you can do is hope it won't. Or will-depending. As long as you live, there’s always something waiting, and even if it’s bad, and you know it's bad, what can you do? You can’t stop living.” ― Truman Capote, In Cold Blood

4) "Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban" by J. K. Rowling
5/5

  • Not my first time reading it

And it won't be the last. I really love the Harry Potter series, they are part of my childhood, and I can picture myself with 80 years rereading Harry Potter, and I love to think that it will enchant me just like the first time.
