hello everyone, i hope you are all doing well! ♡

there are some small life goals you can set yourself that will help you become a better person and by that i mean a happier and more positive version of yourself.

GOAL NUMBER 1:

improve your physical health

if you’re already working out, make a point to work out more. dedicate time to your health every single day, whether it be exercising, walking or enrolling in classes and hobbies that give you joy. not only does working up a sweat help your body achieve its peak physical performance, but you’ll also be more mentally adept too!

GOAL NUMBER 2:

be aware of what you put into your body

let’s be honest, indulging in pizza, ice cream, chocolate, and fizzy drinks isn’t going to make you a bad person. but it can impact your health. it is okay to indulge and enjoy sweet things but you should make it a goal in your life to be more aware of what you’re eating. learn where it comes from, what’s inside it and if it’s ethical and environmentally friendly. this WILL help you become a better person and make a change in the world around you.

GOAL NUMBER 3:

write every day

reflecting on a journal entry you mad one month, week, or even one day ago can help you add some perspective to the way you’re feeling and help get your head in the game. this is a great way to clear your head and get some things off your shoulders. If you make this a habit every day, you’ll find yourself more organized, structured, and less likely to forget things.

GOAL NUMBER 4:

look after your mental health

whether you start some mindfulness colouring, invest in some online counselling, or just try to be kinder to yourself, there is absolutely nothing wrong in looking after your mental health. even if you don’t think you have any particular issues that spring to mind, it can be so nice to get a clear mind and embrace a balanced way of thinking.

GOAL NUMBER 5:

just say YES

for at least one week, start saying yes instead of no. that family gathering you really didn't want to go to, that film you didn't want to see, the homework you didn't want to do... it's too easy to say no and forget about it. so i challenge you to say yes. where you are most uncomfortable you grow the most and who knows you might actually enjoy yourself!

GOAL NUMBER 6:

help other people

try to make it your mission to be a help to others. sometimes busy life gets in the way. whether it’s a friend or a stranger, if you try to make it your goal to be dedicated to helping others, you’ll find that you’re much happier and more positive in yourself.

GOAL NUMBER 7:

try one new thing a week

every week, try one new thing. whether it’s a new food, a new experience or a new skill. don’t tell yourself you don’t like something until you’ve tried it. try everything and broaden your horizons. you’ll be amazed at how many things you could do if you open your mind to them.
