First of all, you don't have to wear makeup to look beautiful, and you also don't have to do these things to look beautiful without makeup. This is just some "hacks" for those of you like me who feel a bit insecure being barefaced, or just want to look as fresh as possible while still looking very natural. So here we go!

1. A good and gentle skincare routine, and a lot of moisturizer

This is basic, but important. I've had acne and oily skin for years and I used to do all the wrong things and just make my skin worse. This is what I've found works best for my skin after seeing a proffesional:
1. Using a good but gentle cleanser - I used to use harsh and drying acne products, wich only made my acne worse, and my skin irritated and red. Try using a more gentle cleanser with a spinbrush or a facial cleaning sponge to deep clean and exfoliate.
2. Use a good moisturizer! - This will make your skin look glowing and healthy. If you have oily skin it's actually even more important. I used to skip moisturizer because I thought it would make my skin more oily, but it's actually the opposite. When your face gets dry your skin will produce more oil to try and moisturize itself. Use a day cream every morning and a heavier night cream every night.

I have a lot more skincare tips that I can make in a seperate article, but these are the most important steps :)

2. Tint your lashes and brows

Tinting your eyelashes is great no matter if you have naturally light or dark eyelashes. Even people with darker eyelashes often have a part at the end of the lash that is lighter. Tinting them will make them look longer, and of course darker. Do this once in a while your lashes will look great without mascara (especially it you curl them like in step # 5)!

3. Tinted moisturizer

Use a tinted moisturizer to get a more even skintone and a bit of a bronze, without feeling or looking like you actually have something on your skin.

4. Use an anti-blemish spot concealer

This is a life saver if you have pimples that you want to cover up while still letting your skin rest from foundation and getting rid of blemishes. I guess this is technically makeup, but in my mind it doesn't cound haha. I have it in a stick form and it's great at covering up the redness. Put it only right on top of the pimples and you can barely tell it's there.

5. Curl your eyelashes with heat

Curling your eyelashes will make you look much more fresh and awake. And one of my favourite beauty hacks is to heat up your eyelash curler, it makes such a difference! Your eyelashes curl a lot easier and makes the curl hold a lot longer. Use your straightener or hairdryer to heat it up, and it should be just hot enough so that it works but doesn't burn your skin!

6. Do your hair

I feel a lot better without makeup if my hair looks good. I usually straighten it or if I want to save time or not use heat I'll sleep with my hair in a braid for some loose waves.

That's basically it! Like I said, of course you don't have to do all of this, this is just what I do and I thought it might be helpful to someone :) Thank you for reading! ♡
