Avoiding the mirror
Don’t want to see the flaws on my face
Crossing my fingers
For one day to love what I see

Maybe I should remove the stretch marks on my back
Or the scars on my face, reflection of the past
They say it’s never too late to change my body
But what will I find at the end of the road?
Peace or just other flaws?

Can I pretend for a moment
To not care about what they say?
Can I pretend for a moment to love myself
Just as I am?
Can we pretend for a moment that the world is bigger than our flaws?
Imagine a world where self-love
Is the norm

Hope you’ll have a beautiful day, night and life.
Lots of love, Naomi.
