Today I'm going to talk to you about 5 new makeup products I've been trying recently, and loving. They are all one of a kind and so good that have managed to become part of my holy grail collection, products that I trust and repeatedly go back to. These aren't necessarily new products, but they're new discoveries for me and life savers for my combination, acne-prone skin.

Becca Ever-Matte Poreless Priming Perfector

So, primers are kinda my obsession and this particular one seems like it's everyone's favourite, which is why I had to try it out for myself. I finally know why people are so crazy about this. It's extremely mattifying and long lasting (for real). You only need literally the tiniest amount (take that from me, someone who likes to go overboard with their primer) and after warming it up between your fingers, press it in the areas you want to keep matte and voila, perfect makeup that won't budge or crease for hours.

Too Faced Peach Perfect Mattifying Loose Setting Powder

Too Faced is seriously my number one favourite brand, to begin with. Also, the Peaches and Cream collection is outstanding, especially the foundation, it's my holy grail product of all times. On top of that, that freakin powder takes the cake, because, for me, it's as good as the famous Laura Mercier one, but it's cheaper, bigger (contains more product) AND it smells amazing. What else do you need?

Becca Sunlit Bronzer in Bali Sands

Everyone knows Becca rocks, mainly in the glowing like a goddess field, and has proved it time and time again with their renowned shimmering skin perfectors (which I also adore). With yet another product, THE bronzer (which to be honest I used to find pointless and unnecessary as a step in my routine), they managed to not only make me love my bronzed face, but also help my fair, textured skin look naturally and subtly warm, without looking orange or muddy.

Kat Von D Shade + Light Contour Refillable Palette in Sombre

Hi, yes, can you please give me chiselled features without making it look I slapped and smeared a bunch of mud on my face? Apparently, Kat Von D can. I do realize that people have been raving about this for ages and I furthermore realize it took me too long to jump onto the bandwagon, once again, oops. But, better late than never, because now I'm here to praise this buttery, blendable formula that makes me look like a sculpted Greek goddess.

Urban Decay De Slick Oil-Control Makeup Setting Spray

I have used and loved the All Nighter setting spray many, many times, but I decided to switch it up and, since I have oily skin, I thought the de slick one would really help. And it certainly has, let me tell you, even after sweating till the early hours of the morning in bars and clubs, dancing and drinking, my oils don't dare come through and nothing moves or slides off my face no matter what. Of course, I will continue to test this until the boiling hot summer weather comes, but I have big faith in it still and that's why it's now part of my holy grails collection (should be in yours too, love).

That's all folks!

These are my current holy grails, along with a small but worthy list of other makeup products I will never stop loving. I will keep on testing things though (seeing as makeup is my addiction, guilty as charged) and get back to you, so you'll know which products are worth splurging on.
