Why?
I feel like a lot of people can relate to some of the problems Charlie deals with, that it can help a lot of people. He's anti-social/socially awkward and that's something i can relate to a LOT. He's very interested in why people are the way they are, and why he seems so different and feels out of place. I've read this book twice and watched the movie tons of times and still love it...and cry haha. Its a really deeply affectionate story with heart-rending reflections on life, friendship, love, & family. Its beautify written and inspirational, and a story i think everyone should read/watch (i recommend reading it though bc its got more detail).

Why?
This is also a beautifully written book, i mean who wouldn't love a book where every page is interesting or inspiring?? While it is an amazing, beautiful, and adorable story with two Teenagers falling in love; it does have a dark side. I feel like this story teaches people a lot about how difficult it can be to spot people in a bad time in their life...or maybe how even though someone can seem and look happy, they might be hiding something. Just the terrible things that can happen to loved ones as well as ourselves, without noticing. It is a very VERY depressing, non-stop page turning, nail biting, story. One moment the story makes your heart full with love and joy for the character and then the next it's broken. I recommend reading it but am going to say there is a trigger warning. Soon to be movie!

Why?
It's such an adorable read! I COULD NOT PUT IT DOWN. It includes important subjects like LGBTQ+, friendship, family, and high school. The process of coming out can be something very scary and this book can help some people feel a lot less alone. Its always amazing when you're reading a book where the characters feel more like real people than just some characteristics on a page. Recomended to anyone who wants a cute and quick read!
