Hey there!

book, art, and reading image

Its been a while since I last posted an article but don't worry you'll be seeing a lot more from me!

Now, lets get down to business (no, it was not my intention to quote Mulan but this article has reached a whole new level of awesomeness thanks to it!).

I'm a first year student studying anthropology in London. I'm nearing the end of my first semester and I have learnt a lot on the way which is why I thought that it would be useful to share all I've learnt! I know I needed this survival guide before I started uni and I'm sure that there are many of you out there who may also be curious. Or if you've already passed the uni stage or not interested in further education, no problem! Carry on reading to find out stories and myths I've come across!

Go out there and become the best you can be! x

Anyways, prior entering uni I had several questions that I didn't have the answers to.

Would it be hard to make friends?

How can I manage studying, ex-curriculum and social life?

How do lectures and seminars work?

Do I actually have to read ALL the books on the reading list?

So many questions, but practically no answers (thanks Google, I thought you had all the answers but apparently not all). And so, this is why I decided to create this uni blog series! It will feature a number of article talking about my experiences of uni.

Expect to read about:

  • The First Week
  • Lectures and Seminars
  • Friends vs Alone
  • Exams and Assignments (grab your coffee)
  • Extra Curriculum and Societies
  • Commuting vs Dorms

If you are curious about anything or if there's something you would like to see more of send me a message and I'll try to address that topic!

Love Artemis x
