Hey babes,
as I have combination skin and currently am trying to work out the perfect routine for me, I thought I'd share the base products I use with you. I hope I'll be able to help some of you in your own search for the perfect makeup!

Nivea Sensitive Post Shave Balm

I never put makeup on without primer because it makes my face look terribly cakey. I use this one specifically because it's not expensive and sinks into the skin nicely when I apply it with my hands.

Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation

I got this foundation because I thought it would make my skin look fresh and glowier than usual when the colder months arrive but so far I'm pretty disappointed and won't be repurchasing it. I get oily on my forehead but simultaneously, my skin gets a bit flaky in that area and this foundation really clings onto those parts and exaggerates them. To avoid that issue at least a bit, I moisturise very well right before doing my makeup. Because the coverage is only light, I apply the foundation with a Real Techniques Expert Face Brush to maintain a bit of coverage.

Catrice Liquid Camouflage Concealer & Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Concealer

I use the Catrice one for under my eyes because it's a bit rosy and lays nicely on the texture on the top of my cheeks. For the rest of my face the Maybelline concealer is my current go to because it's super thin on the skin but has hella coverage.

Rimmel Stay Matte Powder

To insure that my concealer and its coverage stays in place, I powder those certain areas with a little brush but leave the rest of my face unpowdered so it doesn't get cakey and uncomfortable.

Urban Decay All Nighter Makeup Setting Spray

Lastly, after I finished my whole makeup (not only this part), I set my face with my beloved setting spray. And as everyone says, I use it because it literally melts everything together and makes it look even nicer.

Until next time,
