The Break up
Here I was, sitting on grass under the tree with my favorite red knee-high dress on, waiting for Liam.
My Liam.
Like most love stories, He is my childhood crush and always will be.
He finally made a move last summer and is about to become senior in high school like me.
We sadly don't go to the same school. It makes things kinda complicated.
We only fight when one of us is jealous, which is almost every week, but he is worth it.
"Hey pretty girl"
I turned around and see Liam standing next to me.
"Hey handsome", I said with a smile. My heart still skips a beat every time I see him.
"My parents wanted me to do some housework before I left. I'm sorry, if you had to wait a little.", he said as he sat down next to me.
"It's totally fine. I enjoy being outside anyways.", I said as I looked him up and down.
He wore a white shirt with black jeans and random sneakers.
He likes to keep it simple.
When I said that he is handsome, I didn't lie. His dark brown hair matches with his bright blue eyes.
If it was up to me, I could stare at him forever.
"What did you wanted to talk about?", I asked to change the topic.
"Yeah, I don't want to beat around the bush, so I'm going to tell you this but don't freak out"
I got scared as he said it in a serious tone. I was waiting for him to continue but all I could hear is my fast heart beat.
It looked like he had a battle with him self. And not even a second later, came the words out, I was never prepared to hear.
"I think it's the best for us to break up. "
I could feel my heart literally breaking in small pieces. Even the thought us not being together hurts.
