Hello beautiful people! Today, I'm going to talk about my September/October favorites. Eventhough those past couple of months had been tedious and I had gotten truly exhausted, I managed to enjoy few things amongst all that stress! So buckle up and enjoy the ride :)
Wuthring Heights by Emily Brontë
“He's more myself than I am. Whatever our souls are made of, his and mine are the same.”
This is such an amazing novel. Is it better than Jane Eyre? Probably! But the latter wil always be my favorite :D The overal atmosphere of the book is amazing! Contrary to Jane Eyre, Wuthering Heights characters are all about drama, so if you're into family conflicts and forbiden love, then this book is for you!Le Fabuleux Destin d'Amélie Poulain
"Amelie has a strange feeling of absolute harmony. It's a perfect moment. A soft light, a scent in the air, the quiet murmur of the city. A surge of love, an urge to help mankind overcomes her."
Wonderful and inspiring movie! The main character, Amelie, is truly relatable and I wont talk about either her or the movie in this article because I'm planning on sharing the movie review soon, so stay tuned for that :)WatercolorsI'm finally back at painting with my watercolors! I've been mainly sketching and painting mushrooms and other autumn themed items in celebration for the current season! Painting is really relaxing and I recommend it to anyone who's stressed out, or simply bored :)JournalingI've started working on a new journal and it's like a bullet journal/junk journal type of deal! Journals are the best way to organize your life and your thoughts. You can dedicate a small journal to planning the articles you intend to share on WeHeartIt and include some ideas and inspirational quotes or even pictures.(Ahmad) Tea!I'm obsessed with drinking tea as of lately, and Ahmad Tea is definetly my all time favorite brand! My go to flavors are definetly: vanilla black lack tea, cinnamon black tea, and English breakfast!MushroomsOn a totally random note, I'm just into mushrooms lately! As mentioned above, I love drawing/painting them, using illustrations of mushrooms in my journal, and just sharing pictures online! The Hopelessly Romantic AestheticLast but not least, there's the Hopeless Romantic aesthetic! I don't know if it's because of the cold season or the books I've read recently, but I just can't help but share these kind of picture! I don't know how to explain it though, but just think about anything remotely romantic and throw in there a notion of melancholy, and boom! you have yourself the perfect Hopeless Romantic aesthetic! Here's my own WeHeartIt collection dedicated to the theme, in hopes that it'll help you visualize the concept :)
