A Golden Retriever, a pure breed large dog bred in Scotland.
From the name of the dog meaning,
Golden, because that the colour of their long-coated fur that allows the dog to keep warmth when in the outdoors and fur repels cold water to the skin of the dog to keep warmth as well.
Retriever, because they were bred to retrieve hunters shot down animals such as ducks, as they bring it back with out damage with their soft mouth.
Golden Retriever are easy to train as now not really used as a hunting dog but now have other jobs like being used to be guide dogs for blind or deaf people.
