Inner beauty radiates from a person and brings joy to the world, like a beautiful flower. Today I wanted to share with you ways you can find yourself beautiful through love and growth. I want to spread that beautiful feeling around.

Feeling beautiful is not shallow, because once you get comfortable with who you are, that’s when you are ready to share yourself wholly and genuinely with others.

When I notice myself in moments of happiness and authenticity, I look beautiful to myself. I don't even have to look in the mirror. When I am out of alignment, that is when I start to nit-pick my own appearance. I constantly compare myself to others and put myself down. I feel like when I resist allowing myself to feel beautiful, then I also resist allowing it to flow from other people.

I find that when I am happy and at peace with myself, everyone else is better-looking, everyone seems much nicer. When I radiate positive vibes, I have amazing encounters with all kinds of people. I love sharing energy with them, laughing, having fun, feeling confident, uplifting. This is when I actually appreciate the variety of ways people look and the way they present themselves. I feel like beauty is more about the energy exchange. I believe that when you radiate love and beauty, you become a point of attraction for all of it.

Create mood boards, keep a journal, surround yourself with inspirational pictures, start collecting something, exchange books and save your favorite quotes. Clean out your closet, take pictures of your friends, listen to new music, learn something new. Focus on what makes you happy. You'll feel lighter and more focused and ready to feel beautiful, one step after another.

Put your phone away for a little and go on a bike ride with a friend. Drink more water, eat green veggies, take longer baths, do face masks, have some homemade ginger tea, learn how to bake cookies. It will make you feel purely good. Once you feel good on the inside, your outside will shine with benefits as well.

Remember that feeling attractive has little to do with visual appearance. For me, feeling pretty has nothing to do with my hair, teeth, or posture. Honestly, who cares if 100 people find my face beautiful if I am unable to see and feel it in myself? What is beautiful is a healthy appreciation and love of self. So please love yourself, please treasure yourself.

"If you establish serenity and happiness inside yourself, you provide the world with a solid base of peace. If you do not give yourself peace, how can you share it with others? If you do not begin your peace work with yourself, where will you go to begin it?" - Nhat Hanh
