it's basically a demon who took the form of a humanoid creature with long limbs. because nobody knows what a demon really looks like.
he can walk on all fours, on his hands, feets, upright or upside down and he can disappear since he's a supernatural thing.
he can also imitate human voices, which will make the characters mad and paranoic, and suspect each other. he also knows their fears and he will play with it

which is in the countryside, near of a forest and a little bit far from the town. this house is owned by Jade's family since four generations and her parents decided that it will be the house for holidays.
there have always been stories about this place to scare children, etc. even Jade and her sister sometimes had 'experienced' strange things (like footsteps in parquet stairs, falling and missing objects, etc) but nothing too impressive.
