“There is magic in the night when pumpkins glow by moonlight”

Halloween has always been one of the greatest holidays to celebrate because you get to dress up and eat TONS of “free” candy. But there comes the time when you can no longer go trick-or-treating because you’re too old and people will start noticing… you won’t get any more “free” candy… A lot of people believe that Halloween is all for the kids, but adults can celebrate this spooky holiday as well!
Here’s some fun activities to do as an adult during Halloween.

Pumpkin carving

Just because you can’t go out trick-or-treating anymore doesn’t mean you can’t still celebrate Halloween and hand out candy to other young children. If you live in a neighbourhood that has many trick-or-treaters, you can carve your pumpkin and put it outside as decorations.
This isn’t necessary, you can simply carve pumpkins with your friends and save the designs for yourself!

Go to a haunted house

These are always fun during Halloween. I personally love going to the amusement park during Halloween because they set up many haunted houses where workers can scare you while you walk through. I don’t recommend this if you don’t like being scared. But it is such a fun time if you go with a group of friends.

Watch a scary/horror movie

This is a Halloween time classic. There are often many horror movies released near Halloween, you can go see them with your friends. Or you can stay in the warmth of your home and invite friends over to watch some classic Halloween movies.

Head over to a Halloween party (or host your own)

Halloween parties are always fun because you can dress up in a costume. Seeing everyone all dressed up in costume makes for great pictures! Also an exciting time to celebrate the scary holiday with friends.

Bake some Halloween-inspired treats

Halloween baking is a great family activity or you can do this with your friends as well! My favourite cookies to bake are those Pillsbury cookies that have the little Halloween characters on them. Something about those cookies are just so addictive! There are a lot of other fun Halloween-inspired treats that you can make with others.
