Hello Hearters,

I am writing this article to help those of you who feel tired, constantly sad and who feel entitled to a routine that doesn’t correspond to them. I felt like that 1 year ago. It’s been only 3 months since I feel better again. I am happier now and I would lie if I said that my life is perfect now after I made the following advices, but now I see a future and I (really) want to improve myself and my life. I hope it will help you as much as it helped me ! I am only listing the 3 biggest changes I made to feel better, they’re only mine, so you may disagree with them. If that’s the case, please send me a message to help me find new ways to improve. That would be so sweet 😊

Create ONE habit and do it everyday

This ist he first step I took, and what an improvement ! The habit I took was taking a shower every morning. This may seem strange for you. You may even ask „Wasn’t she already taking a shower everyday ???“ And sadly, my answer is no. I was so depressed, than even making the effort to take a shower was painful for me. But as soon as I began to take a shower everyday, I had a goal to achieve, something to do right after waking up. I am not exagerating when I say this : it changed my life ! Find your own habit and start tomorrow : eat a huge breakfast, do yoga in the morning, meditate, go running… It’s your choice !

Sleep is keyyyy

I had huge problems with sleep. I used to go on my phone for hours in bed instead of sleeping. Bad sleep influences your mood, your day and your relationship with others. At that time, I slept 5 hours, when I needed to sleep 9 hours. That was destroying me completely. That’s why I decided 3 months ago to force myself to put the phone down in the evening. It’s not that hard actually. You just have to not use it. I’m not saying you can’t chat with a friend for 5 minutes or you can’t have it as you alarm clock. You just have to have self discipline. And THIS is hard. I’m not lying, I didn’t have self discipline at all, therefore I decided to delete all my social medias until I felt like I wasno more addicted. It took me 3 weeks, but that was necessary.

Listen more to yourself

Everyone has a different way to listen to himself. Mine is writing in a journal and meditation. Maybe yours will be drawing, sport or whatever. What I am saying is, that it is dangerous to hide your emotions. They are here to let you know if you are going the wrong or good way. Hiding your sadness behind positivity isn’t healthy. To be truly happy, you have to deal with these emotions, bad or good. You have to ask you all the time „What am I feeling ? Why am I feeling this ? What does it mean ? What do I do with that ?“ That’s important. A person who is truly happy isn’t full of positivity, but full of different emotions. After all, we are only humans.

That’s all for my biggest advices ! I hope they will help you in your journey too.
Before I end this article, I want to tell you all that you are not alone. If you want to speak or to exchange about ways to improve our lives, feel free to send me a little messages. That’s always welcome, so don’t be afraid ! I know you all are trying your best, even if you don’t think so. It only takes time and your future self will be so proud of you, I promise.
Love you,
