Teddy bear

A teddy bear is something special
For I always wanted one as a kid.
The smile plastered on its face
Makes me return a grin

Mama told me to hold it tight
Pour my heart out as I might
Little one was so precious
That I couldn't sleep without it any night

When little bear was gone
My whole world started spining around.
Worry began to rush
And hope was the only thing I had

As I grew up
Those moments meant something to me
For the teddy bear was just my demons
Inside my mind, hiding in disguise

The teddy bear was something special
For I always avoid it now as a teen
The smile plastered on it's face
Makes me crazy because of the madness

Mama told me to hold it tight
Pour my eyes out as I might
Little one was so uptight
That I couldn't go without overthinking any night

When little bear was gone
My whole world started spinning around
Worry began to rush
And my life was the only thing I had.
