Misty is a fairy, she was found by the doctor Sheldon Winters when she was a baby. He decided with his wife Marguerite to adopt the girl, because of their inhabilities to have children, and named her Ariana after Sheldon's mother. When Misty was thirteen, her parents died in a flight accident.
