Lately, I've been feeling like I've been failing a lot in my life. These feelings came from bad grades, mood swings and some other things. Luckily, I've been surrounded by people who have helped me get out of my 'funk'.

But even they can't help with everything. I measure myself based on achievements. Personal and academical. So I know that it isn't easy to just 'brush it off'. So I decided to make a little list of things that help me deal with my failures. I hope this helps.

Support System

Having people there to care for and help you is one of the greatest things. You don't necessarily have to talk about what's going on, just having them there can help. They don't even have to be human. It can be your pet! The most important thing is that they provided comfort and happiness.

Change Your Mindset

Your mindset is key. Negativity is so easy to grasp onto. Believe me, I know. But going in with a positive outlook can make things so much easier. I'm not saying this is going to be easy to make this change. But over time you'll notice the difference.

Relax

Last but not least, relax. Remember to breath. Think about the good that you've done instead of the bad. I'm sure it outweighs that one little setback. Watch that show. Read that book. Whatever helps you, do it.

Now, of course, I don't expect anyone to incorporate these right away. I don't even do all this. But it is a good start to a more positive and successful life. So, one day, I hope you do refer to these tips. But until then just breath.
