Ingredients for Moong Masoor Dal
Masoor Daal 1/2cup
Moong Daal 1/2cup
Onion 2-3 medium size
Tomato 2 medium size
Green chili 2
Ginger/Garlic paste 1tbsp
Black Peppercorns 6-7
Cinnamon 2-3
Cumin seeds 1/2tsp
Star Anise 1 leaf
Cloves 5-6
Red Chilli Powder 1tbsp
Turmeric Powder 1tbsp
Salt to taste

Tarka
Onion 1 small
Garlic Cloves 2-3
Cumin Seeds 1tsp
Red Chilli Button 2-3
Curry Leaves 8-9

Moong Masoor Dal preparation Method
In a pot fry onions until golden brown then add all garam masala and tomatoes. Add all other spices including both daal. Cover the lid and let it cook for 1 hour. Bhonafiy daal until it gets mashed and then lastly give tarka.
