Halloween is ten days away, and if you're not into pumpkin carving or you just don't have the energy, painting pumpkins is a more relaxing activity.

If you don't know what the Teal Pumpkin Project® is, visit the website below.

Basically, if there is a teal colored pumpkin on your porch or doorstep, you are telling trick or treaters with food allergies that you provide non-food items.
Take it from me, as a kid who grew up with and still has peanut and tree nut allergies, you have no idea what they're in. Of course, Snickers, Paydays, and Take Fives, but also many candies you would never think of. M&Ms, Twix, most candy corn, Milky Ways, and a lot more! I can't imagine how it must have been for kids with dairy or gluten allergies.

When I was little, I would have to get rid of over half of my candy, one year I only was left with five starbursts and a pack of skittles. So if you could do this, you could really make a kid like me happy, and it would mean a lot to me.

  • Temporary tattoos
  • Spider rings
  • Halloween Pencils
  • Halloween bracelets
  • Halloween stickers
  • Any Halloween-themed kids activity or toy you can find at the dollar store in large packs

You can still hand out candy along with them if you are part of this project.

I want to apologize for being inactive since...June. I've been so busy, and as time went on, I sort of lost the spark in me I had for writing, posting, and sharing what inspires me. Lately, I haven't been too busy, and I've even been a little bored. I wanted to write, and I remembered the passion I had for writing and sharing my works and thoughts with the world. I'm going to try to be more active from now on, but I can't make a promise.

Also, I have an article coming out in about ten minutes that I totally didn't only write this article so it could be a part of that one.
