I'm home. It's raining, or cloudy, or just moody and, consequently, I am too. I grab my guitar, my hand smoothly fits itself and my right hand's fingers sweetly touch the strings. They were just waiting to be played with!

At the same time, there's a lot of songs in my head.

At the same time, I want to listen to all of them in order, so here they are:

You Know That I'm No Good
Valerie
What is it about men (Amy Winehouse)
Where did I go?
Something in the way
The one (Jorja Smith)
Piece Of My Heart
Cry Baby
Mercedes Benz (Janis Joplin)
The Wild One (Suzi Quatro)
Bad reputation (Joan Jett)
Feeling good (Nina Simone)
Las simples cosas (Chavela Vargas)
Lost On You (LP)
IDGAF (Dua Lipa)
Zombie
Linger (The Cranberries)

Then I close my eyes and hear and I overcome any fear… and any judgement.

There's both sad and calm and strong songs. All by females.

Why? There are both new and classic voices and I still feel like they should all be more ...recognized.

There's a lot of other women in music, but here's some empowerment that works for me every time.
