Slowly but surely catching up on this challenge, I welcome you to day 4 !

So the challenge of the day (yesterday): write about someone who inspires you

So I'd like to start by saying that I'm not sure whether I'll talk about a famous person or someone in my life. I think that for a more accurate writing, I should go with someone from my life.

I know it probably is some sorte of cliché but someone that inspires me is.. my mom.
I don't know how to get into this without telling stuff that are too private but I'll try.

So first of all she raised me and my brothers & sisters: congrats cause it wasn't easy.
So she wasn't on her own all along, my dad was here too at first (and don't be mistaken, he's still part of my life) but for the hardest part she was basically almost on her own.

She didn't have the easiest childhood and from a young age she understood that most of things, she had to get them done by herself. She was on her own when she was something like 17 years old (I'm impressed because nowadays it's hard to be on your own, where I live) and she started her life.
Back to recent past, with us she managed to make us happy, make sure we always had a nice summer holiday, plenty of food on the table and gifts at Christmas & our birthdays. All of that while working all week and dealing with our issues and adolescence (which was a very rough phase for my sister & I, meaning we were monsters. Actual monsters)

Even if we had our ups and downs like in every mother-daughter relationship (I'm being very general here don't attack me), I know I can always count on her, no matter what time it is, no matter where I am, no matter what I need.

She inspires me because she made me grow up the way that I am, because she's a mother of 3 who managed to make them all grow happy, healthy people while staying at work and being great at it.

So for all that, thank you mom, although I'm pretty sure you won't be reading this here.

To all the moms out there, congratulations and keep up the good work, you can do it. You're all raising the citizens of tomorrow and I'm sure you're doing a great job. As long as you do everything that you can, it means you're doing it well.

And that was day 4, it feels weird to lay this down, here... Anyway,
