Hey Babes!

I don't know about you guys, but I am obsessed with makeup. So much so that I do a full face almost everyday. Today I'll be walking you through my daily routine, from coffee to primers to the end of the show primers. All the products mentioned and my current faves and I use them all day errday.

I'm a Barista, it's literally my job to make caffeinated drinks. So of course, my daily morning starts with a sip of the sweet nectar we all know as coffee. Normally, I put the kettle on, I'm old fashioned, and go wash my face while I wait for the water temperature to rise to make that perfect cup of joe.

While I wait for the kettle, I'll wash my face for the basic reasons: staying clean and hydrated. I always wash my face before applying makeup. I'm bad at adulting, so sometimes I fall asleep with makeup on. This is horrible, don't do it. However washing my face insures that my pores are clean and won't become irritated with additional makeup. The brand you see here is Formula 10.0.6 and it's literally the best sh*t ever. From face wash to face masks, cleansing waters, and even makeup removing wipes. This company is my ultimate to die for. The price is perfect averaging around $7 in the US. Prefect healthy skin for under 10 bucks, f*&$ yes!

Now that you've washed and dried your face, sipped your favorite coffee and placed your hair behind your ears or into a cute bun, we can go ahead and get started with the actual makeup application. I like to sit at my vanity, with natural daylight streaming in as I slather my face with a primer. Primers help prep the skin, reducing pores, and allows flawless makeup application with a stay all day feel. My ultimate favorite is Touche Eclat Blur Primer pictured above by Yves Saint Laurent "Packed with blur technology, this universal primer provides a subtle, golden shimmer for ultimate luminosity." This holy grail of mine soaks into the skin, leaving a matte finish that doesn't bother the foundation, but blurs out pores leaving a gorgeous even tone that slightly glows, giving the look of perfect healthy skin. YESPLEASE Now this shit is expensive, averaging out to $52.00 USD for 1.0z/30ml. Worth it though, baby, worth every damn penny.

Now that we are all set and primed, I'll start adding on foundation. I tend to use Teint Idole Ultra Long Wear by Lancome. You'll see in the picture above that it's the exact same size as the primer, about one ounce or 30 milliliters. That doesn't sound like much, but it's a medium to full coverage. Meaning you only have to use a small amount at a time to get decent to full on cover-all-flaws coverage. This bottle tends to last me 3 to 5 months, depending. However, I do a full coverage look every. single. day So it may last you longer, and at a whopping $47.00 USD you might want to stretch it's longevity. That being said, this gorgeous foundation deliverers a natural-looking, velvety-matte finish for up to 24 hours. A work all day and party all night type of foundation.

Sings: Conceal, don't feel, don't let them know, hide your dark marks and blemishes. Let it go! Let it go! Can't hold it back anymore. Let it go, let it go. Turn away and slay the day. I don't care what they're going to say, Lets spray on more setting spray. Your opinion on my makeup never bothered me anyway." Literally just came up with that shit on the fly, I'm about it post it everywhere. So if you see it, I made that and I'm damn proud. Concealing and setting isn't required for decent makeup. Some may disagree, but it's completely up to you. I personally, set my makeup but I don't use concealer because I'm white as snow. So the only thing I can use for a decent concealer would be glue or mayonnaise. Ew... I normally just set my T-Zone, which is my most oily areas. The power will absorb the oil and keep me fresh without a cakey look or feel.

Contour, bronze, and highlight. When you're finished with your base, meaning your foundation, concealer, and setting power; you're kind of left with this dull even toned look. Adding some contour and highlight adds dimensions to the face. Contouring in that chiseled cheek bones and highlighting the cupids bow for a more full, succulent lip adds those dimensions. It gives your face shape, the cool part is you can control that shape. You can elongate your nose, or make your forehead smaller; even make your cheek bones rise and make your brows stand out all with just a touch of makeup and a few swirls of a brush. Makeup is creativity, makeup is art.

Eye shadow. I have so many eye shadow palettes. My collection is crazy large. It's literally one of my favorite things to do. There is so many crazy, amazingly beautiful combinations you can do that will suit any skin tone, any time of the year and look just perfect. Some of my favorite palettes are from Morphe, Anastasia Beverly Hills, Urban Decay, Huda Beauty, and so many more have such pretty palettes. This is my one favorite thing. If I had to pick one makeup section, it would be eyes. I love eyeliner, shadows, lashes, glitter. I'm all about it 24/7 365 days a year. I can and have spent hours in front of my vanity trying different shadow combinations. Happy, sad, annoyed, depressed, doesn't matter. I'll sit down and do my eye shadow.

The endless arrays of lipstick. There are so many possibilities here that my brain goes numb and all I can do is giggle and shake my hands like a toddler having a fit. I love love looove lippies. So many from liquid lipsticks, my fave, to mattes, shimmers, creams, crayons, and even water activated power lipsticks. Some of my favorites are Anastasia Beverly Hills, Mac, and Lancome. I always have at least two or three lipsticks and liners on me at all times.

Now that we've done our base and evened out our skin; we've added a bit of dimensions with contour and highlight, added a smokey eye with a killer wing and set the mood with a crisp red lip, all that's left is setting spray. Setting spray is exactly what it sounds like, a spray to set your makeup in place. Your face won't be going anywhere with this stuff on. I recommended spraying only half your face at a time so you can fan it, whether with your hand or a piece of paper. Fanning it allows the spray to dry quickly, adhering to the makeup for a locked in stay all day wear. This finishes the entire look, pulling everything together so you can slay the day and take over the world.

I don't know about you, but my make up usually averages out to only take 10 minutes or so, depends on if I'm going for a more classic neutral look, or a rock it out detailed vibrant look. I love doing my make up. I love that creative feeling and that feeling of total control of how I look and feel. I don't use makeup to cover my insecurities or boost my confidence. I simply wear it out of fun. I hope you're doing the same. Do your makeup however you want, stay confident and rock on. If you're not good at makeup, that's totally okay! Took me 2 years to get a decent wing going. Everything takes time, practice, and patience; makeup included.

I hope you guys had as much fun reading this as I did writing it. Thanks so much for tuning in. If you want to read more by me, check out my other articles down below.
