Hey everyone! It’s autumn and I’m so excited! Today I’m going to be taking you through my cosy/lazy day morning routine, for autumn weekends. If you enjoy it please give it a heart.

Wake up late

In loads of we heart it morning routine articles I see ‘wake up at six thirty’ and read wistfully. I’m definitely more of a night owl than an early bird.

Of course, I can’t always wake up late-I have gymnastics and dance every Saturday and Sunday. However, on lazy days I sleep till around nine fifteen.

Read a book

I am a huge bookworm! I read every night before bed and tend to get through two books every evening! I like to read a bit more of the book I read the night before, to wake myself up.

Do my skincare routine

So, I’ve actually got a whole post on my skincare routine, which I’ll link at the end of this article,if you’d like to read it.

Eat, breakfast, change, brush teeth etc

So, next is breakfast time! Some days I go for more fancy things, and others I just settle on cereal. It really depends on my mood that morning.

I also get changed into an outfit like leggings and a hoodie. I know some people would probably just stay in pyjamas, or sweatpants, but for some reason they make me feel unfinished, haha.

As some of you may know, like many other hearters, I really enjoy bullet journaling. I have an article about bullet journaling, which I’ll leave at the bottom of this, along with my skincare routine.

Phone Time

So, eventually I’ll go onto my phone and do the usual. I normally reply to texts, then go on Instagram, Snapchat or youtube etc. Then I’ll look on pinterest and of course, we heart it! I also like to write articles whenever I have time and seeing as the computer i normally use is broken, I have to now write them on my phone

Bath time

So, I can’t complete this routine without a bath! I never like to wash first thing in the morning, but of course I do later on in the day. I’ll normally grab a bath bomb, maybe bath salts and relax whilst having a good soak.

Seriously though, I think lazy days should be a monthly thing! Selfcare is super important (yes, I have an article on that as well, haha. It’ll be down at the bottom with the others.) and I think we all need days like this to treat ourselves!

Thank you for taking time to read this! I really appreciate it!
