Maybe you’d remember in university, if you have ever gotten so bored and annoyed that you wished to be working at some company. And now maybe you are indeed working. Haven’t you ever wished to be back in uni?

Certainly it is a greenness of grass type of issue. But I want to focus on another aspect. Why is it that one wishes for free time to be able to read and study something else and pursue a hobby, and then when that extensive (focus on extensive) free time happens and you have all the opportunity to pursue those hobbies, it becomes the last thing you want to do.

No, rationally, you want to do them, and you realize that you’d feel accomplished and pleased afterwards, but you kind of also don’t ever really feel like it. Why is it?
