Hello everyone! Tomorrow, Oct. 12th is my 20th birthday! wooo~ but for the first time, I'll be spending it completely alone. Of course, I'll talk with my family and friends, but I won't have anyone I know physically around me to spend it with. So, if you ever find yourself in this circumstance, I got a few tips on how to still go all out for your birthday!
1 | Decorate
Get some balloons, fairy lights, confetti, and decorate your space to your liking!
2 | Music
Create a playlist with all of your favorite songs, or birthday themed songs, and blast it all day! This is a great way to lift your spirits up, maybe dance a little, and just know that it's ok to have fun with yourself!
3 | Food
This is honestly the best "cheat day" reason ever! It's your birthday, grab all your favorite snacks, make yourself your favorite breakfast, lunch, or even take yourself on a dinner date! Treat yourself!
4 | Self-care
Take this day to really take care of your body. Get some face masks, a body scrub, do your nails or go to the beauty salon/spa! Dedicate the day to yourself!
5 | Travel
Take a road trip for the weekend, spend the day shopping in the nearest city, go to an amusement park, or go on a day cruise! Explore the world around you and appreciate that you had another year in it!
6 | Family & Friends
Although they won't be there physically, still take the time to communicate with them. Facetime, text, or even through social media. Make sure you don't isolate yourself and let those that matter in your life show you that you are loved, and appreciated!
