In these days we can learn foreign languages easier than it was years ago. That's why today I'm going to show you the things I did to upgrade my English.
Using this tips can make your learning process a lot easier, and it's my personal experience because my mother language is Spanish.
I usually do these things everyday, and I think that's the reason why I'm kinda fluent in this language.
In that way, let's start:
READING
Read books

You can read books in the language you're learning. They can be virtual or in PDF. The important thing is that you understand what you're reading.
Follow accounts

As a personal advice, the best you can do is follow people on different social networks that only speak in the language you're learning.
LISTENING
Listen to music

You can find incredible bands or singers in every single language. This will help you to recognise how people pronounce words.
Watch series/films

You can practise by listening people speaking in other lenguages, and for making this easier, you can add subtitles in your language. Then you'll understand.
WRITING
Write down your thoughts

You can write on your phone notes or in a piece of paper how you feel or how was your day, also what's your opinion about a certain topic.
Write messages to people

You can get in contact with people whose native language is the one you're learning. There are apps that help you find this people.
SPEAKING
Sing songs

C'mon, we all love singing out loud when nobody's watching. What you can do is find a new artist in that language and try to sing their songs.
Watch series/films

Yes, again. This helps you not only for your listening comprehension but with your speaking. Maybe you thought a word was pronounced in a way but it turns out that is not.
FOR ALL SKILLS
Download apps
Ok, downloading apps to your phone can help you with all four skills. I leave you my last article about 5 apps I personally recommend if you're in the process of learning a foreign language:
I hope this helps you as much as it helped me.
Thank you for reading.
