Dear Sir/Ma'am

My name is Lisa, I am fifteen years old. I have lived my whole life in a small town in Denmark called Østbirk. My days are usually busy, but I guess that's just because I like keeping myself active and work with different things. I spent a lot of time dancing, working out, writing my own stories, working, reading and so much more. The dance especially takes a lot of work as I often have competitions on the weekends, so it usually takes up a lot of my time. I am often busy from the morning to the afternoon, with everyday things, thereafter, I often work with my personal interests.

I would love to go to the Fairer World Youth Camp in New York because I think fair opportunities for all is a very fascinating and important topic. I have always found human rights and fair opportunities very intriguing, and I believe it's one of the things that we still have work to do with. It's clear that we as humans have made progress in the past years, but there's still work to do before we are where we should be. It's very obvious that there are still some parts of the world where everyone is far from having fair opportunities. I would really enjoy working on this meaningful topic and keeping all my focus on it, and just really getting into the subject.

I think I can contribute with interesting meanings and another view at the world. Also, the topic excites me a lot, and I have a lot of curiosity about the project, so I will also contribute with a lot of passion and fascination.

I hope to walk home with a lot of new knowledge, and maybe with a new way of thinking and a new way for me to look at the world, and I could make a lot of new friends. I think I could gain a lot from this experience, and for me, it is the perfect way to spend my summer.

If you have any further questions or want to contact me, feel free to contact my mail:

Sincerely, Lisa Mikkelsen
