Incorporate sodium bicarbonate to your beauty routine and see the wonderful effects of this natural ingredient. Personally, I've been using it for two years and I haven't gone back to drug-store products. Like I love knowing what I give my body, I love knowing what I put on it, this is why I use 100% natural ingredients.

To Clean your Face & Body - Sodium bicarbonate has a soft texture that can clean your face wonderfully. Mix half a teaspoon of sodium bicarbonate with two teaspoons of water, and apply on to your face gently doing circular movements. To Remove Product Buildup on your Hair - If after a couple of washes, your hair tends to look and feel not as clean as it used to be, it`s because you have accumulated product buildup. This means that your hair has accumulated shampoo, conditioner and/or styling products. Sodium bicarbonate helps remove the residue that shampoo, sweat, conditioner, and styling products leave behind so your hair is cleaner, healthier and more manageable. There are two ways you can do this: applying sodium bicarbonate with water directly onto your hair or mixing it with your favorite shampoo. If your hair is a bit greasy or if you have lots of product buildup, applying sodium bicarbonate with water onto your hair will probably work better for you. Just mix two teaspoons of sodium bicarbonate with a cup of water and apply by rubbing your scalp gently. Let it rest for about 5 minutes, then rinse off with warm water. If your hair tends to be dry, mixing sodium bicarbonate with shampoo will help remove buildup while maintaining your hair moisturized. Simply sprinkling about a quarter-size of baking soda onto your palm along with your shampoo and let it act for 10 minutes. After rinsing you will feel your hair lighter and softer! You can use this beauty remedy three or two times a month for healthy and lustrous hair!

Sodium Bicarbonate for your Mouth Care - To clean, remove stains and whiten your teeth make a bicarbonate and lemon juice paste by mixing half a teaspoon of sodium bicarbonate with a few drops of lemon; place it on your toothbrush and use it as a normal toothpaste. You have to be careful because this mix can be a bit abrasive on your teeth so brush carefully and only do this about once every three months. To make a mouthwash, mix a teaspoon of bicarbonate with one cup of water. Swish the mix around in your mouth for 30 seconds to one minute and then spit it out. The benefits of this are wonderful, it will neutralize acids in your mouth, help prevent cavities and leave your breath refreshing! To make a sodium bicarbonate mouthwash even better, add a couple drops of mint essence, and voila! A natural minty mouthwash!

Face Mask - My personal favorite! Mix a teaspoon of sodium bicarbonate with a couple drops of water and massage it gently on your face. The transparent mix with dry and it will feel like a mask. Leave it on for about 5-7 minutes, then rinse with warm water.

PS Everyone has different kinds of skin, so if you feel any discomfort with any of the mixes, take it off immediately.
