Billie Holiday sang "it's autumn in New York, it's good to live it again", and I could not agree more.
In this article I'm going to show you what you can do in the greatest city.

For coffee time, you can't miss the iconic Magnolia Bakery. I also recommend Breads Bakery, Ost Cafe and Black Cat LES.
For another meals: Nectar (it is small but that makes it so cozy), the Writing Room, Eataly and PizzArte (it is close to the MOMA, so if you visit it, don't miss this restaurant).

Of course you can't miss Central Park, a clear view of fall, neither any other park (Battery, Bryant, etc).
Go walking around Greenwich Village (if you are a Friends' fan, check out the building), and also walk along the promenade at the Hudson River Park. A sunset by the river, with the sun hitting Manhattan's buildings is breathtaking.
Walk around the SoHo as well, even if you don't have the budget to buy something there, the window shopping is worth it.
Finally, take the Staten Island Ferry (it is free and you get amazing views of the city while also seeing the Statue of Liberty).

Columbus Circle. It is outstanding and you can also shop!
When it comes to museums, inside the MoMa, there's this spot which has a large window where you can see the hidden garden. Find it! Also, don't miss the MET (specially if you are a Gossip Girl fan, where a picture on the steps is necessary!). Lastly, after a walk through Central Park, visit the Museum of Natural History.
There's this elevated public park filled with plants that has a great view of the city, called the Highline; and if you don't want to go through all the buzz in Brooklyn's Bridge, you can still appreciate it from the terrace on 39 South Street.
For book lovers, there's a gigantic library called The Strand Book Store.
Go to see a show at Carnegie Hall, or a play at Lincoln Center or the iconic Broadway.
Finally, do a Ghosts of New York tour.
