Growing up sucks.

Another year, another birthday. One more step into world of adults, the real world. The world full of responsibilities and it looks like there’s no fun in the world of adults.

I see it kinda differently. Yes, growing up sucks and it’s disgusting but it’s a part of our lives so we have to deal with it somehow. But what is bad about liking the same things like when you were a teenager? What is wrong about liking Marvel or DC comics, fairy tales, dinosaurs? What is wrong about collecting action figures, pop vinyl figures? What is wrong about cosplaying and having fun when you dress up as your favourite character? What is wrong about being a fangirl? Absolutely nothing.

I think people are too serious about these things. We all should have fun, we all should be happy. You’re 33, so what? You still can collect action figures, you can cosplay your favourite characters, you can dream about being a singer, you can play video games. You can do anything you want and it’s not about your age. It’s about you and your feelings, if you like to do it, just do it.

You know, I didn’t want to have children, at least now. I’m too young for that and stuff but in case I’m mum one day, I’ll decorate our house with my, my husband’s and my children’s favourite things and it doesn’t matter if I’m 25 or 50. I will always like Harry Potter, I will always like Marvel and DC and I will always love playing video games, I will always be dreaming about being a musical actress or a singer.

All I want to say is do what you like and don’t look at your age, it’s just a number in most cases.
