There is a various amount of drawing techniques and styles where different kinds of art supplies are used. And it can be fun to try different techniques out - therefor I have created at list of diffrent art supplies and styles:

Colored Pencils

Colored pencils can be used alone, but are also good to use on top of markers to create details, or e.g. with Pan Pastel.

Graphite

To blend graphite pencils together blending stumps, tissues, Q-tips and brushes can for example be used.

Charcoal

Charcoal can create really dark drawing, and doesn't 'shine' like the dark parts of a graphite drawing does.

Watercolor

Honestly, I am really bad at painting with watercolors. But if you know how to do it, you can create some amazing paintings!

Markers

Again, you can use colored pencils or white ball pens on top of a drawing made with markers to easier create details.

Pen

I like to use pens for quick skethes, but they can also be used for detailed drawings.

Ballpoint Pen

You can even use ink with different colors :)

Pastels

Pastels are easily blending together

Stippling

Stippling is a technique where you simply make a lot of small dots to create shadows.

Coffee

Mostly for fun, but you can use coffee as watercolors.

Paint

I have mentioned watercolors, but other painting supplies are e.g. acrylic paint and oil paint.
