When writing my blogs, I like to write about things I know for sure people can relate too. I also like to write about things people don't like bringing up because they are afraid to talk about it. With hesitation, I am publishing this article. This has to be one of the most honest articles I have ever written, let alone written for others to see. I hope while reading this, you will realize you are never alone in the way you feel, so let's dive right into the topic...
Hey, I'm here to tell you it is okay to feel lonely sometimes, and you are not the only person that feels that way. A lot of times we go through situations that hit our lives out of the blue, especially when we are in our happiest state of mind. The situations make us feel lonely and make us anxious, leaving us feeling very lonely. We grow up learning that some things are just out of control and while that is true, we also decide how we reflect and react to every situation in our lives. You have two choices with every situation in your life, you can either leave the current situation that you're in or change it. Although that is harder said than done, IT IS POSSIBLE!

Not too long ago, I was at a point in my life, where I had so many questions. I have a great family, a pretty good circle of friends, yet every time I was with people, I still felt very alone. I was looking for answers everywhere, trying to figure out why I felt the way I did. I would listen to songs, read tons of poetry, and yet still no answers. I was so stuck on my lonely for a little bit, I began to stop praying because I was wondering how could God let me feel this way, I was a little upset with him. I became very isolated with myself and put a wall up closing my closest friends and family out and not being open with my feeling which was very unhealthy. After about two weeks, I finally told my pride to take a seat and gathered up all the faith I had within me and began to pray like I never had before. My prayer went a little something like this
God, I am in desperate need of answers
I need to feel you in my life
I am lonely and I am starting to question my walk with you
Please send me peace and reveal yourself to me
About five minutes after this, I felt a breeze of fresh wind, almost as if a brick had been lifted off my back. I felt God telling me he was there with me and that it would all be okay. I started to look up verses that had to do with anxiety and loneliness. After digging into the word and discovering a couple verses. I can say my faith really got me out of what was the most difficult time in my life.

I want you all to know that no matter what walk of life you come from, what your race, age, gender or who you are as a person, there is a God out there waiting for you to give up all your problems to him. There is a whole book dedicated to bringing you to hope and helping you through difficult times and rejoicing with you in your victories. There is a God that wants to grant you 100% peace and is willing to love you in the good and the bad and walk your journey with you, and no matter what, and no matter how many times you fail, Jesus will always be there, with his arms wide open waiting for you to come home.

Here are a couple of the verses that helped me through my tough time, I am so glad to be able to say that I am free from this loneliness and anxiety and I am smiling knowing that there is a God who loves me and cares for me and wants me to succeed and wants you to know YOU ARE NEVER ALONE.
Isaiah 41:10 "So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand."
John 14:27 "Peace is what I leave with you; it is my own peace that I give you. I do not give it as the world does. Do not be worried and upset; do not be afraid."
1 Samuel 12:22 "For the sake of his great name the Lord will not reject his people, because the Lord was pleased to make you his own."
1 Peter 5:7 "Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you."
Proverbs 18:24 "One who has unreliable friends soon comes to ruin, but there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother."
Psalm 147:3 "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds."
Last but not least, this next verse reminds that God will not give you more than you can overcome
1 Corinthians 10:13 "No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it."
