“I want you to remember that I have a history of disobeying your direct orders and turning out to be right. ” —Kady Grant Kady is shown very early on to have a rebellious streak. She is very ambitious and knows what she wants to do with her life. Kady is also incredibly stubborn and can keep a grudge for a long time before finally forgiving someone. She excels under pressure and always seems to put herself in danger for the good of others, despite being described as "not a team player." She would also much rather work alone and get the job done, though she is willing to work with close friends.

“I take this as a declaration of war... tomorrow, I will be making sweet, sweet love to your sister by week's end. This I do solemnly vow. —Ezra Ezra is described as a very easy-going guy that likes to joke around. He can handle social situations with ease and take the lead if necessary, which is a skill he most likely got from playing geeball in a team. Generally, Ezra is depicted as someone who gets emotional easily, but who tries to hide his insecurities behind jokes. He is not afraid to voice his own opinions, however, and often questions orders and actions from people who outrank him or are in any other position of power.

This morning, Kady thought breaking up with Ezra was the hardest thing she’d have to do.

This afternoon, her planet was invaded.

The year is 2575, and two rival megacorporations are at war over a planet that’s little more than an ice-covered speck at the edge of the universe. Too bad nobody thought to warn the people living on it. With enemy fire raining down on them, Kady and Ezra—who are barely even talking to each other—are forced to fight their way onto an evacuating fleet, with an enemy warship in hot pursuit.

But their problems are just getting started. A deadly plague has broken out and is mutating, with terrifying results; the fleet's AI, which should be protecting them, may actually be their enemy; and nobody in charge will say what’s really going on. As Kady hacks into a tangled web of data to find the truth, it's clear only one person can help her bring it all to light: the ex-boyfriend she swore she'd never speak to again

This book is worth it i really hope you give it a chance, you'll love it.

Thanks, xx
