Hello everyone! My name is Aya and it is my pleasure to share with you my very own, personal summer bucket list.
Before I get started, I would like to congratulate everyone: school is finally over! You made it, congrats!
Feel free to send me a postcard. It is my first article, so enjoy!

Work Out on the Daily

Even if I am unable to hit the gym every day, I will make sure to follow up the summer workout routine I have set for myself. (If you're interested, please make sure to let me know).
My workout routine would also consist of running on the daily. What I like most about running is that it isn't just physically beneficial, it also helps me clear my head and psychologically relax. I don't listen to music while running and I prefer to do it outside and observe people as they walk and communicate with one another.

Eat Healthy

Now a lot of people tend to overeat and drink a lot of sugary drinks during summer. However, I would like to not be that person. I have set a diet plan for myself which consists of clean eating and drinking a lot of water and green tea and I am most excited about following it up and simply refresh and detox my body. (Again, if anyone's interested in my diet plan make sure to let me know)

Finish Reading Twenty Books

Honestly, school was too stressful that I didn't have any time to peacefully sit down and read a book. Therefore, I have found twenty good books that I want to finish this summer and I will include five of them down below:

- Ulysses: Written by James Joyce, Ulysses is considered one of the most important works of the eighteenth century.
- War and Peace: Written by the Russian author Leo Tolstoy, War and Peace is considered a World Classic.
- 1984: Written by George Orwell, 1984 is a novel about world dystopia
- One Hundred Years of Solitude: written by Spanish author Gabriel Garcia Marquez, One Hundred Years of Solitude is one of the most loved novels of the twentieth century.
- Pride and Prejudice: written by Jane Austen, Pride and Prejudice is a classic tale of love and misunderstanding unfolding in class-conscious England near the close of the 18th century.

Paint and Learn How to Draw the Human Figure

Art is one of the most effective methods of self-expression. Generally, I am the type of person who writes more than paint and for this summer, I would like to try out painting a bit more.
Also, I bought a book which teaches me how to master the art of drawing the human body, and I am most excited to follow up with its methods and let my pencil sketch and flow.

Visit Ukraine

One thing not everyone knows about me (since this is my first article) is that I come from a mixed family: my mother is pure Ukrainian and my father is pure Lebanese. I live in Lebanon, therefore I do not get to see my grandparents that often. Therefore, I am eager to go see them after two years of not visiting my home country, and I also very excited about walking the streets of Kiev and swimming in my village's lakes!

Spread Positivity and Do Good

Fellow readers, always remember: what goes around, comes around. Be positive, do good, compliment and help people out and help create a better community. You will, one way or another, realize that good people are found and this positivity of yours will come back to you. Just wait and see.

“Happiness can be found in the darkest of times, if one only remembers to turn on the light.”
- Albus Dumbledore

Thank you for your time and for reading my article! I will make sure to write more articles, for I have a lot of ideas for that. I hope you get to know me based on the list I have set for myself, and I would appreciate it if you tell me your recommendations and ideas on how I can improve my future articles.

Also, if anyone feels like talking or if anyone needs advice, feel free to contact me! I currently have quit social media and I will use Instagram again starting September 1st (I am taking a break for a while to improve my daily routine) but I am always using my e-mail so feel free to contact me there or here, on We Heart It.
