Day 13: Make a list of your three favorite books

13 reasons why and series image

1) 13 Reasons Why

I'm sure most of you know that there's a Netflix series about this story, but for those of you who don't know; it's about a girl who commits suicide and leaves behind 13 tapes about certain people who have had an effect in her life. We get to see the main character, Clay Jensen, explore the events on the tapes and where they all took place. However, I give a fair warning that this series is VERY sensitive and can trigger many feelings or flashbacks. It is rated TV-MA for a reason. Although I absolutely loved the book, I highly recommend the series after reading.

2) The Fault in Our Stars

Two teen cancer patients are each forced to attend a support group, which is where they meet and find that they have yet to bring out the best in each other. The story is narrated by Hazel Grace Lancaster, who explains the way she met and fell in love with Augustus (Gus) Waters. "Life is a roller coaster, my friend. And I'm only going up." If anything, the story is a roller coaster of emotions. Be prepared for tears. "Okay? Okay."

3) The Outsiders

I think the title is pretty self-explanatory. Basically the book is about Greasers VS. Socs (as in 'social', not socks). It's about a group of Greasers in Oklahoma, but two have been mugged by a group of socs. After this happens, two of the Greasers are forced to run away after a murder and eventually have to return to settle scores with the help of the other members in town for the "Rumble"
