In my previous article,
I had spoken about the cleanliness of the house.
Next, let's talk about the cleanliness of the body

Bismillah!

2. Cleanliness of the body

Personal hygiene is very important on a daily basis. But in Ramadhan, it's going to be twice as important. Make sure you are wearing clean clothes when going to the masjid or you're brushing your teeth and especially the tongue before going out. We all know the hadith that states that the scent coming out of the smell of fasting person's mouth is more beloved to m Allah than the scent of musk.

Now, don't take it too literally. It means that Allah loves the effort a Muslim is doing by abstaining from food and drink. So, make sure you're clean and no odor is coming from your mouth. Also, take the habit of regularly trimming your nails and get a nice haircut prior to Ramadhan, so that you don't end up queuing up at the hairdressers' on the first night of Taraweeh.
