it was too late.
it really was.
she was already struggling.
she felt suffocated.
and it was all overwhelming.
she couldn’t think or breath,
she felt like her body was on fire.
her nostrils were flaring.
her lungs lacked oxygen.
or maybe they just lacked life.
and it just hurts.
it hurts everywhere.
she didn’t know what and why is it happening.
but she slowly started to get it,
to know what’s going on.
to realize that she was drowning.
drowning in the sea of confusion.
drowning in the sea of hurt.
and she wishes she’d fight more for life.
but she was never taught how to swim.
and maybe she should've learnt how to.
but it was too late.
and no one came to save her anyway.
