Self Love

Definition: "regard for one's own well-being and happiness" - google.
So basically, self-love is something that you should learn about and achieve. It will improve your lifestyle, happiness, and perspective on life. This can be done through self-care and other ways including...

1. Always speak positively in your head to yourself/have positive thoughts. 'Speak' to yourself like you would to another person - kindly and mindful.
Love your insecurities, embrace them <3 because whatever it is, you can change your view on it by thinking about it positively not negatively.

3. Stop comparing yourself to others. They are not you and you are not them. Please be yourself because you deserve to be loved - flaws included which make you special <3.

4. Don't be so hard on yourself, yes you can work hard for what you want but don't overwork to the point where you are not getting enough sleep, not going out with friends, skipping meals, stressing, etc.

5. Don't keep your feelings to yourself or other negative information that is affecting your happiness and wellbeing. Tell a friend/person you trust, if you have no one than go online and find an internet friend *BUT BE SAFE*. E.g. comment on an Instagram post with your name, age (optional), your personality and random things you like - never give out your home address or personal information. After you start talking more than tell when you feel the time is right and when you trust them.

Self Care

1. Do something that makes you happy.

2. Design routines for yourself - skin, hair, body, etc. There are many ways to find inspiration for your health routine on multiple social platforms. Weheartit has many articles on skincare, hair care, workout routines, etc. Pinterest is good for finding a workout routine, Twitter has many tips on skincare, etc. Also, keep a morning and night routine - at night, do not go on your phone, maintain a sleeping schedule, do tasks that make you tired to help you fall to sleep faster, etc.

3. De-stress. This can be done through apps on your phone, walking outside, listening to music, doing something that relaxes you, etc. And also doing a task that you have been putting off for weeks or procrastinating on - once you get it out of the way, you can relax.

4. Keep a journal. This can be where you write down your thoughts, feelings and let everything out.

5. Surround yourself with positive people only.
