To be honest with you guys, it's quite hard to come up with new article ideas, especially when my goal is to post twice a week, every wednesday and sunday (thankfully, I've been up to this goal so far). But lately, as I've been looking into the 'Home' channel a lot, I noticed that a few users shared their dream apartment/house. I'm moving soon (with my mom and sister, I'm not independant yet), and I've been looking for inspiration for my new room. And because I really love decorating, and I can't wait to be on my own, I decided to come up with my 'Dream Apartment' for you guys, hoping you could get some inspo too !
I would love to live in a Parisian apartment, or a New York one, with those famous outside stairs.
➜ THE APARTMENT IN GENERAL
something with rather high ceiling, and big windows to let the maximum of luminosity flows inside, but not a big apartment (maybe not a one room like the picture, but you get the idea), because I want to be realistic, and I know my budget won't allow me to have a loft like I could dream of.
➜ THE ENTRANCE
a nice entrance to make people wanna come back to my place ahah. some plants and some art would be perfect.
➜ THE KITCHEN
for the kitchen, I would like a nice little open kitchen (so one room for both the kitchen/dining room and the living room), big enough so that I can invite people for dinner, but not huge, mostly white, but with an accent wall, and a lot of smart storage.
➜ THE LIVING ROOM
for the living room, my wish is to have a comfortable couch, in a clear color, with a lot of cushions that'd bring a touch of bright and happy colors. also, a big cozy hammac, would be so damn cool. and to complete, a clear coffee table, a metal floor lamp, and big plants !
➜ THE BATHROOM
the most important thing about the bathroom would be it to have a window, because without a window, a bathroom feels really oppressing and little I think. I would love it to have floor tiles on the walls too, but I don't know if I'd like a bathtub or a shower better. also, a big round mirror to take morning selfies would be great !
➜ THE BEDROOM
for my bedroom, which is of course the most important room of the apartment, my must haves would be : clear walls, bed near the window, a big mirror for those ootd pics, lots of plants, soft bedsheets, an aesthetic clothes rack and an inspiring, organized study space.
➜ CLOSET
I've always dreamed of a walk-in closet, even a little one ! so a small one, attached to the bedroom, with a 'vanity' corner, for the ridiculously little amount of makeup that I own. as a very organized person, my hanging clothes would be organized by color, lenght and thickness. everything, every bag, pair of shoes, and piece of jewelry, would have its place.
